This was made for the Major Jam 6: Life.

The idea was to make a turn-based farming game with multiple farms that you have to manage. Where each farm has different conditions for planting plants and some conditions are dynamic so you have to manage them if these conditions are too far different from the Plant's requirements the plant will be damaged.

I was not able to reach the stage of polishing and balancing the game so it is not perfect yet.

A few important points to note:

The book icon on the top will become a guidebook with information on the farms and plants, it is not yet working currently so please do not mind it.

The Spade is the plant menu and the spanner is the tool menu. Resources are where you can see and sell all the harvested resources, the harvest tool works on all farms with plants ready for harvesting.

If you have selected the plant you will see its requirements displayed above the farm's conditions.

Tools can currently be used infinitely, this will be fixed and changed to have a cost per use later.

There is no way someone managed to make this in 7 days, absolutly no way.

To be true it was 5, as I missed the first two days cause I didn't know about it. If I had been busy for the full 7 days it would maybe have been more polished, in fact, I am surprised by how much faster it has become to develop over the Game Jams that I have attempted.

I do believe not having to make the art assets as I used Kenney Assets was a great help in making the dev time shorter, however, now that the game jam period is over I might take to trying to do the art myself.
